Plant tour for pupils of the "Girls & Boys Academy".

VeRotool brings young people closer to working life and provides insights into the world of construction machinery as well as its own production halls and warehouses.

During a guided tour by managing director Anita Rosenbrock-Welter, the girls and boys learned a lot about training opportunities in the manufacturing industry. The professions of industrial sales people, warehouse staff, construction mechanics (locksmiths & welders) and cutting machine operators (CNC millers) were presented. From the repair of large attachments to the individual production of a wide variety of wear parts to materials science - the pupils were very impressed by the possibilities of these exciting professions. They were amazed when they realized the size of the various attachments. According to the students they will now look at the construction sites on the roads with a different eye.

Visit of the "business-frauen Ratingen e.V." at VeRotool

The "business-frauen Ratingen e.V." are a lively network of successful female entrepreneurs and were guests at VeRotool in March 23. Anita Rosenbrock-Welter is a managing director in a male-dominated industry and the perfect contact person for questions such as: "What are actually wear parts for construction machinery? What happens to the broken equipment that comes off the construction sites? How sustainably does VeRotool work?" The tour provided exciting insights into the world of large-scale construction equipment and repairs and raised one final question: Why not fill vacancies in this industry with women?
